BEAR BONES is a versatile duo performing traditional folk and roots-based songs and music at folk clubs, concerts and festivals. Their ability to create music for more intimate settings has become extremely popular with museum and art gallery openings, parties and for all those ‘special events’.

JOHN HOWES and
HUW JONES are well known on the
South Wales Folk Music scene.
John was a founder member of the anglo/welsh band Swansea Jack
and went on to form
Will Griffy’s Music and Absolutely No Dogs,
as well as
collaborating in
song writing
with
the poet Brian Smith.
Huw
has played dance music for many years,
initially
with the seminal ceilidh
band Cwmdonkin
and he was also musician for the dance groups
Cam Carlam
and
Capercaillie
and later on, he formed
The Bear Band ceilidh
band.
